The Monster Card is a single postcard that twelve New Bern businesses share, mailed to 4,628 homes across Trent Woods, Taberna, Brices Creek and New Bern. Each business gets its own page here. Scan the QR code on the ad you’re holding, or type the short address printed underneath it.
There is no directory here yet — the ad in your hand is the way in.
Every spot on the card belongs to one New Bern business, and no two are in the same line of work.
Point your camera at the QR code, or type the address printed under the ad. They all look like newbern.deals/their-name.
Their offer, phone number, hours, and their Google rating and recent reviews when they have them — in Google’s own order, nothing hand-picked.
The short version: because of where you live, and nothing else we know about you.
Look at the address panel — it says Local Postal Customer. The card goes out through USPS Every Door Direct Mail, which delivers one piece to every home on a carrier route. We choose routes. We never choose people.
No list was bought, rented or scraped to send you this. The mailing is handed to the Post Office as a bundle per route, and the carrier walks it. There is no file here with you in it.
That is the honest answer, not a brush-off — saturation mail is all-or-nothing by route, and we never see the addresses to remove one. DMAchoice at dmachoice.thedma.org reduces addressed advertising mail, though it does not stop route-based mail like this.
Direct Marketing Monster designs, prints and mails the card. Each business writes its own offer and honors it directly. If one isn’t honored, tell us at support@directmarketingmonster.com — we would rather know before the next drop than after it.
Written out plainly here, and in full in the privacy policy.
Which card, which business, roughly when. It is how an advertiser knows the card is working. It carries no name and no account.
It rings straight through to the business, and it lets them count calls the card produced. Those calls may be recorded — North Carolina is a one-party-consent state — and recordings are deleted after 90 days.
Name, phone, email and your message reach the advertiser and us. Nothing more is asked for, and it is not sold on.
The privacy policy allows for one on the individual offer pages. None is switched on right now, and this page carries none either. The privacy policy covers everything above, including how to ask us to delete something.
The card carries twelve businesses and no two competitors. Here is exactly where it goes.
